ActiveExpiredSuspendedRevoked

Public verification pages are for confirmation purposes only and must not be relied upon as proof of competence, licensure, or suitability beyond the scope of the certification.

06Revocation and Suspension

Certification is subject to ongoing compliance. CAFE may suspend or revoke certification where:

  • Certification criteria are no longer met
  • Misrepresentation or misconduct is identified
  • Required conditions are not fulfilled
  • Legal or regulatory obligations require action

Records of certification actions are retained to preserve auditability.

08Intellectual Property

All content, systems, designs, and materials forming part of the Platform are the property of CAFE or its licensors. Users are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Platform for its intended purposes. No right, title, or interest in the Platform is transferred to users.

09Platform Availability

CAFE makes reasonable efforts to ensure availability and reliability. However, the Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. CAFE may:

  • Modify or update the Platform
  • Introduce new features
  • Temporarily suspend access for maintenance

10Automation and AI

The Platform may use automated processes to enforce timelines, validate records, and manage workflows. At this time, certification outcomes are not determined by artificial intelligence. Where automated assistance is used, it operates under defined rules and human oversight.

11Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law:

  • CAFE is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Platform
  • CAFE does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation
  • Public verification pages are provided without warranty of completeness beyond recorded status

Nothing in these Terms limits liability where such limitation is prohibited by law.

12Third-Party Services

The Platform may integrate limited third-party services to support operational functions. CAFE is not responsible for the independent practices of third-party service providers.

13Termination

CAFE may terminate or restrict access to the Platform where these Terms are breached, continued access poses a risk to system integrity, or legal obligations require action. Termination does not remove obligations or records that must be retained.

14Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Canada and the applicable laws of the province determined by CAFE's place of operation. Any disputes arising from use of the Platform are subject to Canadian jurisdiction.

15Changes to Terms

CAFE may update these Terms to reflect changes in law, certification requirements, or Platform functionality. Material changes will be communicated where appropriate. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
